With Jane Ross, Tessel Middag and Kayla McCoy all joining over the summer, Ness feels the squad are continuing to grow in strength and depth as they look to get off to a strong start against Queen’s Park.
The 25-year-old sat down exclusively with RangersTV to look ahead to the game, she said: “It will be really good, I think we have had a good amount of time off as individuals and as a team it was obviously good to get back in for pre-season.
“It is always nice to see new faces and meet new people and the girls have come in and fitted in really well. It is good to have more numbers and more competition for places which is exactly what everybody wants in the team.
“It is going to be really competitive and gives us a lot of options going forward so I think it is the most important thing to have strength and depth in the squad.”
Ness is looking forward to playing in front of Rangers fans for the first time this weekend, with a limited number of tickets available to buy HERE.
She continued: “It will be really good, we’ve not had a chance to have our fans here at the training ground before so it will be good for us.
“Since turning professional the team has never had a crowd so it will be really exciting to see some new faces and new fans at the training ground on Sunday and we as a team can't wait to have that support.”
