The utility man enjoyed a fantastic period during his time in Glasgow, having spent eight years with the Light Blues, joining in July 2007.
He was part of the side that won three league titles, two Scottish Cups and two League Cups, as well as helping the team in their run to the Manchester final in the UEFA Cup in 2008.
Given the captain’s armband for the club in September 2012, he played a pivotal role in helping the team climb back up the divisions, helping the side to win the now-known Scottish League One and Two titles respectively.
McCulloch will now lead out the Rangers side for the iconic return of a Scottish football staple of the 1980s and 90s at Braehead Arena at the beginning of next month. As all 12 William Hill Premiership teams have signed up to take part in a legends version of the small-sided tournament, with heroes of the recent past wearing the official club kits of this season.
The SPFL TENNENT’S SIXES will take place on the weekend of October 3 and 4 at Braehead Arena, and all the action will be shown live on Premier Sports.
