NICO RASKIN insists the squad are determined to get back to winning ways against St Johnstone tomorrow.

The Light Blues drew 2-2 with Dundee last Saturday after a run of seven straight wins in all competitions - including back-to-back Old Firm success.

Midfielder Raskin, who scored a stunner at Dens Park, says the squad are looking to secure another three points at Ibrox in what he hopes is a successful season.

Speaking to the media, he said: "I am looking at tomorrow and making sure we win and bounce back from the last game.

"We want to win as many games as we can, and we want to build more momentum to bring us success.

"We have won six games from our last seven league matches, and we need to get back to winning and take it as far as we can.

"Everyone is talking about us drawing last week, but we need to make sure that is a one-off.

We want to put on a good performance and win the game tomorrow.

"No team will win every game; we will drop points, but it is about how you bounce back and create more momentum and how many wins you can get to put you in a good position.

"There is a long way to go, and there is no panic; it is about tomorrow and making sure we win.

"This club means a lot to me; playing for your country is the highest feeling you can have, but the club helped me to get to that level.

"I have spent the most time here as a professional, and it is great. I am very proud of what I have achieved, and now I want more success. I want to make sure we have a good season.

"Success means winning. It is winning the cup, winning the league and winning the other cup; that is what a good season is.

"You can’t be satisfied with one, you always want more.”

Gaffer Derek McInnes has spoken of his delight at working with the Belgian international midfielder so far this term.

Raskin has been impressed with his new boss and says he is enjoying playing alongside Dan Neil at the heart of the engine room.

He added: "The manager has been amazing with me; he supports me.

"I remember playing against his Kilmarnock and Hearts teams, and they were probably amongst the tough games I have had here.

"I was happy with him coming here. When we first spoke, I could feel the love he had for the club and his ambition.

"I think the club is in good hands, and he understands the players and he is helping everyone as much as he can - he is great for us.

I feel the support and love from the manager, and you want to give everything for him.

"He is a top man manager and is amazing to work under.

"We have a strong midfield group with Tochi (Chukwuani), Vanja (Dragojevic), Cammy (Devlin) and Dan.

"It is good to have competition, and we are pushing each other in training. With Dan, we understand each other.

"He is easy to play with; he is very smart and calm on the pitch. We have had some good results together, and now we want to keep that going."
