Rangers announced the signing of Nedim Bajrami from Italian club Sassuolo on a permanent basis on the last day of the transfer window in August 2024.

The 25-year-old midfielder has penned a long-term contract with Philippe Clement’s men and becomes the eleventh signing of the summer transfer window.

Bajrami made history earlier this year when he scored the fastest ever goal in European Championship Finals history, when he fired home after 23 seconds against Italy.

The playmaker began his career with Swiss outfit Grasshoppers before moving to Italian side Empoli on loan in 2019.

He then made it a permanent switch, before joining up with Sassuolo in January 2023.
