Barron joined the club after leaving Aberdeen in the summer of 2024.

The highly-rated midfielder had come through the youth ranks at Pittodrie after joining the north-east club at the age of eight.

He joined Brechin City on loan in 2020, before linking up with former Rangers star Kevin Thomson at Kelty Hearts.

His performances with the then-League Two side saw him return to Aberdeen where he made his senior debut in January 2022.

Since then Barron established himself as a first-team regular as well as being selected for Scotland at senior level.
