Norwegian international Aasgaard joined Rangers from Luton Town in the summer of 2025.

After impressing for Wigan Athletic, the midfielder caught the attention of Luton Town in the January transfer window, with the midfielder an ever-present for the Hatters in the second half of the 2024/25 campaign.

He soon made the switch north of the border and struck his first goal in Rangers colours in fine fashion with a terrific effort against Dundee United at Ibrox.

From there, Aasgaard was rewarded with his senior Norway debut and netted for his country against France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
