RANGERS Academy are pleased to confirm details of the players who have joined our full-time programme in the Professional Development Phase, joining up with our Under-18s side.
Alexander Smith, Cameron Fernie, Aiden McCallion, Cormac Christie and Rydnn McGuire have all penned their first professional contracts until summer 2027 and will now move into Steven Smith’s Under-18s group for the 2024/25 campaign.
Professional Development Phase Manager, David McCallum, commented: “We would like to welcome all the boys on the start of their exciting full-time journey here at Rangers.
“They will now join up with a talented Under-18s group led by Steven Smith and supported by a robust education programme which will provide the boys with the building blocks required for a long and hopefully successful professional career at a modern, winning Rangers.
"It is an exciting and proud time for the players and their families. Our schoolboy programme and staff have provided an excellent platform and the step into the Professional Development Phase will ensure the players continue to be challenged on and off the pitch, giving them the best chance to develop in an environment where progression is expected.”
