Team News: Jo Potter Names Side To Face Partick Thistle

JO POTTER has named her Rangers side for this afternoon’s Sky Sports Cup final against Partick Thistle at Tynecastle.

The Light Blues are looking to retain the trophy they won last season at the same venue, with the boss Potter hoping to win her first trophy as Gers boss.

For today’s contest, Vic Esson returns to the side in place of Jenna Fife between the sticks as she continues as the Cup keeper.

Kathy Hill is also back in the starting line-up, alongside fellow defenders Nicola Docherty and Tessel Middag with Olivia McLoughlin and Chelsea Cornet in the middle of the park.

Brogan Hay, Mia McAulay and Rachel Rowe will look to provide creativity, behind a front two of Jane Ross and Rio Hardy.

Among the substitutes for Potter’s side this afternoon is Libby Bance, Lizzie Arnot, Sarah Ewens, Eilidh Austin, and Jodi McLeary, while Kirsty Howat - who netted in the 2-0 final win over Hibs last season - is also on the bench.

Kick-off at Tynecastle is 1:30pm and you can follow the match live on Sky Sports or across our social media channels @RangersWFC on X and Instagram.

RANGERS: Esson, Hill, Middag, Docherty, Hay, Rowe, Cornet, McLoughlin, McAulay, Ross, Hardy.

SUBS: Fife, Howat, Bance, Arnot, Austin, Ewens, Martinez, McLeary.
