The 20-year-old was unfortunate not to get on the scoresheet in the 2-0 victory over Livingston, with his performances in recent weeks catching the eye of manager Michael O’Neill at international level.
The attacking midfielder has represented his country at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and, most recently, Under-21 level, as he hopes to get his first taste of senior action for his country in their forthcoming clashes against Finland and Denmark.

16-year-old McClure has trodden the same path as Ross McCausland after joining the Academy from Linfield in the summer, with his impressive performances at Under-18s level this season catching the eye.
Mason, meanwhile, has continued to impress between the posts for Gers B despite only turning 17 this year, with the teenager setting his sights on a place in the final Northern Ireland squad for next year’s Under-19 European Championships.
Archie Stevens – England Under-17s
Archie and the young Lions kicked off their Under-17 World Cup campaign on Saturday morning with a resounding 10-0 victory over New Caledonia.
Ryan Garry’s side then backed that up yesterday afternoon with a last-gasp 2-1 success over Iran which strengthened the side’s hopes of securing passage to the knockout stages ahead of their concluding group fixture against Brazil on Friday afternoon.
Josh Gentles – Wales Under-17s
Wales v Belgium – Saturday, November 18 – UEFA Euro Under-17 Qualifier – Kick-off 4pm
Wales v Gibraltar – Tuesday, November 21 – UEFA Euro Under-17 Qualifier – Kick-off 1pm
Josh will represent Wales in their Under-17 European Championships qualifying campaign over the next seven days.
The 16-year-old has made a strong impression at B Team level in recent weeks, netting his first goal for Gers B in a 4-0 victory over Queen’s Park in Glasgow Cup action before netting the opener in last week’s SPFL Trust Trophy clash with Scottish Championship outfit Airdrieonians.
The forward will be keen to impress on an individual level in the three-team group in south Wales, with a place in the Elite Round next March up for grabs.
