Calum Adamson, Lewis Stewart and Alfie Halliwell – Scotland Under-19s
Italy Under-19s v Scotland Under-19s – Friday 10 October – Friendly – Kick-off 3:30pm
Italy Under-19s v Scotland Under-19s – Monday 13 October – Friendly – Kick-off 10am
After representing Scotland Under-19s at the Slovenia Nations Cup last month, the young Gers are represented by Calum Adamson, Lewis Stewart and Alfie Halliwell this time around. Goalkeeper Rydnn McGuire, who was also included in the selection, has been recalled by the club due to injuries elsewhere in the position ahead of Saturday’s KDM Evolution Trophy clash.
All of whom represented their countries in September and they will be keen to make an impression once again in a friendly double header in Italy.
Campobasso is the venue for the opening clash on Friday afternoon, while Isernia will play host to the second of the matches on Monday morning.
Josh Gentles – Wales Under-19s
Wales Under-19s v Switzerland Under-19s – Wednesday 8 October – Friendly – Kick-off 2pm
Wales Under-19s v Netherlands Under-19s – Saturday 11 October – Friendly – Kick-off 5pm
Wales Under-19s v England Under-19s – Tuesday 14 October – Friendly – Kick-off 11am
Josh has been selected for the Wales Under-19s squad once again after making his debut at the level last month.
Wales’ preparations continue for the Under-19 European Championships next summer, which will be hosted in north Wales, as they prepare for three exciting tune-up matches.
The 18-year-old forward has been involved for Raith Rovers in recent weeks and will hope to seize his opportunity for his country over the next seven days.
Callum Burnside – Northern Ireland Under-19s
USA Under-19s v Northern Ireland Under-19s – Saturday 11 October – Friendly – Kick-off 2pm
Northern Ireland Under-19s v Switzerland Under-19s – Tuesday 14 October – Friendly – Kick-off 5pm
Callum has been called up to the Northern Ireland Under-19s squad for their friendly matches in Marbella, Spain.
The clashes are set to be important preparation for Gareth McAuley’s side ahead of their European Championship qualifiers next month.
The attacking midfielder, who made his first appearance for Alloa Athletic on loan at the weekend, has represented his country through the age groups and will hope to play a prominent role against both the USA and Switzerland.
