RANGERS Academy can today announce Ashton Scally has signed his first professional contract at the club.
The exciting and highly-rated full-back celebrated his 16th birthday on Saturday and has committed his future to the club until the summer of 2029.
He was part of the first-team squad which travelled to Spain last week for a training camp, while he has featured prominently for the Under-19s this season at the age of just 15.
Scally has followed the full Academy journey at Rangers and has also been capped at Scotland Under-16 level.
Interim Head of Academy, David McCallum, commented: “We are delighted that Ashton has signed his first professional contract at Rangers.
“I’m sure it is a proud moment for him and his family, and it has been earned through his commitment and dedication, as well as the collective effort of our Academy coaches and support staff whose hard work and expertise continue to create a platform where young players can thrive.
“Ashton displays a real hunger to learn both on and off the pitch, and we all look forward to supporting him as he takes the next steps in his career.”
