Bala was joined by Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu for the 30-minute chat as they discussed football, life in Glasgow and dealing with the pandemic.
Gurpreet quizzed Bala on her time with Rangers so far, on playing in the SWPL and the moment she scored her first goal for the club in December.
The interactive session saw viewers of the Instagram live feed pose their questions to Bala, before the Rangers striker had some questions of her own for her Indian counterparts.
Gurpreet spoke of the club’s tough start to the season, how the team is handling staying in a bio-bubble and the absence of fans.
During the session there was also an appearance from Bengaluru striker Udanta Singh and midfielder Wangjam Suresh, who are both from the same region of India as Bala.
Bala said: “It was great to have the opportunity to talk with the players from Bengaluru FC about their season so far and about my life here in Glasgow.
“I enjoyed answering questions from Gurpreet and from people watching the live chat and it was a pleasant surprise to speak to Udanta and Suresh as well, both who are from my state.
“It is fantastic to be able to continue to build the relationship with Bengaluru FC by being part of this event.”
Bengaluru goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu added: “It was really nice to be able to catch up with Bala on the Instagram Live session.
“In signing with Rangers she’s pushed the boundaries for women’s football in India and is nothing short of an inspiration for all of us.
“I’ve spent a few seasons in Norway and I remember how challenging it was, so credit to Bala for digging her heels in. She’s away from home so I thought it would be nice to get some of the boys from her home state on the call with her.
“We’re all tracking her journey and rooting for her.”
