The Gers head to the SMiSA Stadium as they take on St. Mirren in their final Scottish Premiership fixture of the season.
Speaking to the media in this afternoon’s press conference, the manager wants his side to head into the summer break on a high with a victory: “We will look forward to this game. What I would say about St.Mirren is I think Stephen Robinson has done a fantastic job this season to get in the top six with the budget they have got. They were pushing for European places just two games ago, their home form has been the bedrock of that and they'll want to go out on a high.
“It is important. This is a game where you sit on it all summer, and I don't want to sit on a disappointing day, certainly after the way the game ended on Wednesday night. I want a strong away performance and a win to take us into the summer.”
The manager reflected on his time in the Ibrox dugout as he looks forward to a full pre-season in charge of the club after the season concludes on Saturday afternoon.
He continued: “It has been an interesting first season as a manager. Obviously it started in the English Championship at Queens Park Rangers, 50 games, and being back here at Rangers. At the start of the season I wouldn't have thought that was possible. It has been a whirlwind, a pleasant whirlwind.
“It is fantastic to be back at the club, you ride the wave of the ups and downs. I feel really comfortable in the job. I have been looking to the summer for the last few weeks, so we will get this game in the right way. We want to get a positive result, and then a very short break and then back to work. I am really excited about pre-season. It is not the easiest thing to do coming into a club in the middle of the season when part of the season has been written, and I am glad the summer is upon us.”
Beale has shared his excitement for what lies ahead this summer with several plans already being put in place as he gets ready for his first full season in charge of the club next campaign.
He added: “I am relishing everything being reset and giving ourselves an opportunity to have a really strong pre-season. Some new players coming in, they will obviously bring new energy and enable me to fully imprint my ideas on the team. I have been really happy with the players inside. Even today the competitiveness in training and the attitude of the players has always been first class. I am really looking forward to a full pre-season, everything being reset, and a lot of optimism around what we can achieve.
“My excitement for this summer is because I see the work that we are doing in the background. We are very close to what I want and if we get that in then I will be very pleased, and we will have a really strong pre-season, implement some new things, and we will come out of it a much stronger team for sure.”
