The summer addition, who made the switch north of the border in July from Durham, looped the goalkeeper impressively at the beginning of the second half to send the Light Blues on their way to another league victory.
Speaking to RangersTV reflecting on the moment and the team’s 3-0 success over Motherwell, she said: “It was probably relief to be honest! I think it is always nice to get the first goal and obviously contribute to the win as well which is always important.
“Now I have got one so hopefully the rest will sort of flow a little bit easier.
“At times it was probably not the nicest of football but sometimes that is how it is.
“I think we dug in well, there was moments that I thought we looked really strong and a clean sheet is always really good.
“Got the three points and sort of onto the next really.”
The New Zealand winger acknowledged the team can raise their levels, but ultimately feels it was key just to continue their 100 per cent winning start to the new league campaign.
She continued: “Motherwell at times made it difficult for us and I think that is always going to be the case.
“I think we showed a good level of patience to sort of break them down and eventually get the goals in and get the result that we wanted.
“These games are really important to find things that we need to fine tune and work on as we work through the season, so an important game and three points which was the main thing.”
One of seven signings in this summer’s window, the 26-year-old looked back on her early part of her time in Glasgow so far and now what’s to come for the squad with further league and European action awaiting in the coming weeks.
She added: “There is always a bit of an adjustment period, learning everyone's style of play and that adjustment sort of happens on and off the field.
“I think credit to the staff and the players that transition has been really seamless and it has been pretty easy for myself and I probably speak for a lot of the new girls as well.
“Those relationships are starting to come together and that will grow as the season progresses for sure.
“A little bit of a rest I think will be valuable for us.
“I think we have got to make sure we don't take our foot off the gas; training will stay nice and high in its intensity and European football to look forward to and other big league games sort of sprinkled in there.
“Everyone is really focused we don't want to get too complacent; we have started the season really strongly but we want to push on and continue to get results like this and everyone is really motivated to do so.”
