HAT-TRICK hero Bojan Miovski was delighted to hit the first treble of his senior career.
The striker notched twice in the first half, before slamming home a second half spot-kick in the 5-0 win over Annan.
A Kieran Dowell header and a stunning Thelo Aasgaard free-kick secured Danny Röhl’s side’s spot in the Scottish Gas Men’s Scottish Cup fifth round draw.
Miovski says the squad prepared for the fixture the same as they did for Aberdeen last Sunday.
Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “For every striker it is important to score goals and to score three goals I am happy.
“I don’t think about hat-tricks, I try to keep going and get more, so to score three was pleasing and I always want more.
“I am the type of striker who needs to make movements, and the wingers try to find me.
“Findlay Curtis chipped it across for me and I was really pleased for him.
“We treated this game like any other, we stayed professional and now we move forward again.
“These games can be tricky. We saw Real Madrid went out of the Spanish Cup, so we had the mindset to win the game, be on the front foot and score an early goal and it makes it much easier.”
The Light Blues have added Tochi Chukwuani, Tuur Rommens and Andreas Skov Olsen to the squad this week.
The trio got their first taste of the Ibrox crowd as they were paraded in front of the home supporters ahead of the Scottish Cup clash.
Chukwuani climbed off the bench for his first minutes of action, while Rommens and Skov Olsen watched from the stands.
Miovski was delighted to welcome the reinforcements to the squad, as they made it six straight victories, and he says they are determined to keep up their winning run.
He added: “It is great to see the new boys. Every player who brings quality to the team is important.
“We have half the season to go, so it will help us to have that consistency. We need to keep going to win matches.
“We want to keep the momentum up, take points and see what happens at the end of the season.”
