Head coach Jo Potter rung the changes for the visit of the Tayside outfit, making ten changes from last weekend’s Old Firm league success in Hamilton.
And the Light Blues were just as ruthless as they have been in recent weeks, netting six times to take their tally to 27 goals across the last four outings.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory, the Gers assistant manager commented: “Yes, there were a lot of changes, but they are also players who start.
“Mia [McAulay], Lizzie [Arnot], Chelsea [Cornet] all start games. We have such a quality squad and we had internationals in there who are going away this week.
“For us, it was just a case of rotating players and making sure they get minutes that they need.
“Our quality remains high and the squad stays in a really good place so we can really challenge.
“It’s what we pride ourselves on: that everyone takes the same messages home from training and we all understand the key outcomes that we’re looking for.
“You don’t win the league without a squad and we’re very fortunate to have the one that we do. The players deserve credit for maintaining the levels that we pride ourselves on.
“The confidence is high, and it should be. We’re in a really good run of form and our performances, albeit the slow start today, have got better and better.
“We’re now starting to see the real quality that we bring in training – which people don’t get to see – translating to games.
“I felt that was lacking in the first part of the season, but we seem to be in a good place with that and we need to keep pushing.”
Rangers fell behind in the contest this afternoon, although they quickly rallied to establish a two-goal advantage at the half-time intervals thanks to a brace from Jane Ross and strike from Camille Lafaix.
Further goals were added through Mia McAulay, Katie Wilkinson and Kirsty Howat in the second period.
Bradford believes the concession of the opening goal was a wake up call for the players, and she praised the quality of the side in their attacking endeavours thereafter.
She added: “It was a bit of slow build, but we got there in the end.
“We were a little bit disappointed in our start, but our quality came through in the end. I thought the goal woke us up a little bit.
“We went into half-time at 3-1, so we asked them for more of the same in the second half and I thought we were good value for money in the end.
“We wanted to be better with the ball and be really clinical when we had it.
“And I don’t mean in terms of making chances infront of goal because I thought we were a little bit wasteful in the first half, but just in terms of that ability to make a pass between ourselves and have that quality that we pride ourselves on.
“I thought we were lacking that a little bit – and the players knew that – so it was just a case of regrouping and making sure that second half didn’t fall into that same pattern.”
