The experienced forward was on the scoresheet twice in an eventful first half in which the Light Blues were sprung into action by the concession of the opening goal.
She capped off a lovely back-to-front move to find the equaliser, before her sumptuous effort from range arrowed into the top corner to complete a quick turnaround and set the home side on their way to an emphatic 6-1 triumph.
Speaking to RangersTV after the triumph, Ross commented: “We’re happy to get the three points. It took us a good 30 minutes to get control of the game.
“It was obviously disappointing to go 1-0 down, but the mindset and mentality to get the goals and come out 3-1 at half-time was positive.
“6-1 win overall and the most important thing is the three points.
“The first one was great build-up play and it was Kirsty [Howat] who had the initial shot blocked, so it was just about being the right place for the rebound.
“I don’t really remember much about the second goal! I recall Eilidh [Austin] bringing the ball down, it fell to me, and I thought I’m just going to have a shot here.
“I’m pleased to get on the scoresheet and contribute today.”
Ross was one of ten changes to the side this afternoon from last weekend’s Old Firm triumph.
And she certainly capitalised on her opportunity, helping deliver a fourth successive triumph for a confident Rangers side ahead of the final international hiatus of the campaign.
She added: “We have a lot of quality in this group and we have a squad that we could field two starting XI’s.
“The number of changes is great opportunities for people, but regardless of which team starts we have players with different attributes and qualities for various matches.
“We’re happy to be winning. There’s been some great results, but we’re well aware that there will be tough periods to go.
“We’re taking one game at a time, but we’re obviously happy to get the three points today.
“We hope the players going away get the results and come back fit again. We’ll be working hard and getting some rest and recovery.
“We’ll be ready to go come Westdyke in the cup.”
