The midfielder, who joined the Gers last summer, will extend her stay in Glasgow into a second season after signing an initial deal for 12 months.
The French-American, playing just her second season in professional football, made her debut for the Light Blues in a league victory over Montrose on August 25 and has gone on to rack up over 25 appearances for Jo Potter’s side.
She has made a notable impact in the second half of the season in particular, enjoying a run in the side having come of the bench to score the vital opener in the 2-0 Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Spartans before two further strikes in a SWPL win over Motherwell were to follow.
The attacking midfielder was rewarded for her form with a start in the Sky Sports Cup final back in March. Scoring the crucial second goal in a 5-0 triumph over Hibs at Fir Park as the Gers successfully defended the trophy they had won in the previous two campaigns.
The 24-year-old also helped the team in successfully defending the Scottish Cup last month, coming off the bench in a convincing win over Glasgow City at Hampden Park as the Gers claimed a cup double for the second season running.
Lafaix will now be part of the Gers squad when they return for pre-season training in July as they look to fight for silverware on all fronts next season.
Speaking after signing her new deal, she commented: “I am super grateful for this opportunity.

“We have set really high standards, so continuing to work on that and growing as a player but also doing my best to help the collective as well.”
Women’s head coach, Jo Potter, said: “Camille has gone from strength to strength in a Rangers jersey during just her second season in professional football.
“Her attitude on the training pitch is second to none and has been patient in getting her opportunities and she has taken them when she got them.”
Women’s and Girls’ Managing Director Donald Gillies also said: “Having Camille commit to the club for another year is tremendous news.
“Adjusting to the Scottish lifestyle and game has not come easy, but her resilience, hard-work, and quality both on and off the pitch have seen her take massive strides this year, evident in a fantastic performance in the Sky Sports Cup Final.
“Having her for another year only adds to the strength of this team in the season ahead.”
