He spoke exclusively with RangersTV yesterday to look ahead to tonight’s away fixture against Spartans, and said: “I feel like it will be a different kind of challenge for us. I feel like it will be physically demanding playing away tonight.
“We’re ready to stand up to the challenge and ready to face whatever is in front of us.”
Lindsay discussed Saturday’s first league fixture against Bo’ness United and the importance of playing in the Lowland League for development, continuing: “First of all it was nice to get the three points. It’s the first league game of the season and a lot of us haven't played men’s football.
“I felt that we started quite slow but as the game went on we got into it and towards the second half we started playing really good football. A 2-0 win and a clean sheet was good all-round.
“Individually it will help my development. We’ve got a very busy schedule and it’s about high standards. There is a bit of everything this year and individually, you’re wanting to play against more experienced players to give yourself the biggest test that you can.
“It’s given us an example of a physical test that we’ll be up against. We still haven't hit our top standard but we are slowly growing as a team until we get there.
“The whole team is really looking forward to getting into it - we’re playing two games a week which will be physically demanding.”
Lindsay highlighted the excitement to play in front of fans again, explaining: “It was brilliant. When they cheered for us it was really encouraging. It made you happy and enjoy it that bit more. The support was great, good turnout and all-around really positive.
“It’s an exciting time for us with playing football and fans getting back into the stadiums. I’m really looking forward to it and I’m hoping as the season goes on, we’ll keep growing and keep improving.”
With a busy schedule ahead for the B Team for this Lowland League campaign, Lindsay emphasised the importance of the team's rest and recovery time.
He said: “It’s probably one of the most important things for us this season, all of us recovering well and to the best of our ability.
“You really need to take this moment in, eating the right nutrition and doing the right things after games. As you said, it is a really hectic schedule this year, which we’re all delighted with but the recovery is very important to us.
“There are things that we are really happy with and some things we want to improve on. I feel like last Saturday was a stepping stone and as long as we keep improving and tidying up certain things it’ll be a good game tonight.”
