Ciaran Dickson Delighted To Get 90 Minutes

MIDFIELDER Ciaran Dickson was delighted to get 90 minutes under his belt as the B Team defeated Brechin City 3-1 at the training centre tonight.

The 18-year-old has been part of the first-team bubble but international break allowed him the opportunity to feature in the B Team friendly.

Speaking to RangersTV after the match, he said: “I thought we started off quite well in the first-half, we dominated the game and went up three nil before half-time.

“I thought the second-half it got a bit scrappy but that is going to happen against teams like this but overall it was a good performance and I enjoyed it.

“I’ve not been playing recently so to get 90 minutes in the tank was quite good and I enjoyed it.”

Dickson is relishing the opportunity to be part of the first-team set-up and the challenge that comes with it.

He continued: “I feel good being round with the first-team in front of the Gaffer and getting on the bench the other night you can see I am reaping the rewards.

“It has been difficult but I am finding it very easy to adapt, I'm enjoying every day.

“I'm taking it day by day and I'm enjoying showing the Gaffer and all the backroom staff what I can do.

“Coming from training with the reserves and going in to train with the first team it is a different ball game. There is a higher tempo round there and it can only improve me as a player.”
