The Gers captain expects another difficult game in the Scottish Women’s Premier League on Sunday but feels the Light Blues must look to dominate at Rangers Training Centre.
Speaking to RangersTV, she said: “We know it is going to be a difficult game but we are going in there to try and get the three points at the end of the day.
“Hopefully winning against Hibs 3-0 will give us confidence going into the Celtic game. We are a good squad and we believe that we can go and get the three points so that is what we will be looking to do.
“We need to make sure we play more like ourselves, I think when you see us playing we dominate most games that we play in. It is about having the belief going in against Celtic to play that way and dominate the game and make them worry about us and show how good a team we are.”
Gemmell praised the squad effort as recent injuries have meant every player has played their part over the last few weeks.
She continued: “You see every week someone seems to pick up a wee niggle so we have had to rely on everybody and everybody that comes in does a job.
“Bala getting her goal against Spartans, Sonia coming on to playing really well against Hibs along with all the other girls. I have come in off the bench quite recently too so everyone has really played an important role and it is so true what Malky says about it being a squad.
“We know that we can only control what we do, we are looking for three points from every game we go into but we are just taking every game at a time.
“We have won against Hibs there midweek and we look to Celtic next and once that's finished we'll look past that but we are just taking one game at a time.”
