Ridvan, Todd Cantwell and Cyriel Dessers were all on target for Rangers on their return to league business following the winter break. The manager praised the focus, hunger and desire from his side and says it is important that it continues moving forward.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “After the winter break, it is always important to start good again and we had a really good period in December with a lot of wins.
"It is what I expect, we need to continue like that and keep the same focus and the same hunger, desire and team spirit because that was also important today.
“All the substitutes had an impact on the game so that is important that we stay really strong. You see that this mentality is now in the team, and this is always dangerous when you win twice, and you think it comes falling out of the sky, but it is hard work.
“It is about being focused all the time, it is about a lot of running without the ball and they are doing that at the moment. You see a big difference from three months ago and that it is all about focus, concentration, hunger, and desire.”
Clement was happy with both the attacking and defensive display from his side with a number of chances created at Easter Road and a clean sheet.
He continued: “The clean sheet is really important, in an away game in a stadium with a lot of supporters and Hibs are a good team on the ball. They are always offensively very dangerous. Jack [Butland] saved us a few times but I thought in general we defended well.
“The fourth goal was just disallowed by centimetres offside but that was another good attack and we had several other really good attacks where the goalkeeper had a few good saves.
"I am pleased about this game. It is now about confirming this in St Mirren that is a good challenge, and we are going to be focused to have the same performance there.”
