The young Ger netted the winning goal today after his side fought from 2-0 down to secure another important three points in the league campaign.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after their positive win, he said: “I think in the first half we never really took our chances and then we find ourselves two goals down early on in the second half.
“I thought we handled it brilliantly and showed great character to win the game.”
Young highlighted the key messages in the changing room at half time and outlined his natural ability to score from outside the box after he secured the third goal in today’s match.
He added: “It was just to keep doing what we do and how we play, we don’t lose our heads or do anything silly – we just had to keep playing and things would happen.
“When I get the ball outside the box, I’m comfortable to have a pop and fortunately the one today went in.”
