Colak’s was his first official goal in Light Blue, while Morelos marked his return to action after a long injury lay-off with the clincher in the 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.
The manager, speaking afterwards to RangersTV, said: "Very much. It is important for them as a striker to be on the scoresheet, and also for Tom [Lawrence] and Rabbi [Matondo] to get the assists.
"It is good for the confidence of the strikers to be on the scoresheet.
"[Alfredo] has worked hard in the last weeks to be ready for the game today. It was his first game in five months and but I am happy is there as he gives us something extra, and you saw also the reception he got from the fans.
"Hopefully, he will get stronger and stronger the more he plays."
On the match itself, van Bronckhorst added: "I am very happy with the win and it is always good to have the three points domestically. Today, we played against a team who made it really difficult, defending really deep and making it hard for us.
"But in the end, we knew in the second half, the spaces would open up and we could have better chances to score goals and I think it is always good to win at home with a clean sheet, and having your two strikers on the scoresheet is very good.
"In the league, we want to get the three points every week, score as many goals as possible and keep a clean sheet.
"We were able to do so today, and that is why we are happy with the win and we will now work hard for the game on Tuesday."
