The Light Blues had to work hard to leave the capital victorious as they held on at the end to make it three wins in a row at the start of their league campaign.
Speaking to RangersTV after the win the midfielder was happy to claim victory in what was the second part of a big three-game week for the team.
She said: “Of course three points is massive for us, obviously it is a big week of games and we are just happy to come away with the three points in the end.
“I think it was great to get that get-go in the second half, we knew we needed that start to get into it and really push them, I think we did that. We just spoke at half-time about coming out, and we know we should start games better in the first half but we really pushed for that in the second."
The 24-year-old produced another strike on the night as she made it four goals in the opening three league games and she says she is enjoying her football and how she has started the season.
She continued: “I can't really remember it to be fair, but I always happy to contribute to the team but the three points is the main thing so that is the most important thing for us.
“I am buzzing, but it is a team game and that is the most important thing, performances on the pitch and three points is always the main aim.”
Cornet echoed her head coach by praising the character of the side as they dug in to maintain their 100 percent start to the campaign.
She added: “That character is massive within games, obviously it is a long season so that is really needed. We stepped up with that character and to come away with the win.”
