Rangers are in last eight action this weekend as they take on Hibs for the second time in a week at Meadowbank Stadium tomorrow at 12 noon.
Speaking to RangersTV in the build-up to the match, the midfielder has urged the Gers to book their place at the national stadium for the second year running as they continue to go in search for success on three fronts.
She said: “Obviously Hampden is such a beautiful stadium. We have played at it before so everyone will want to get a taste of that again.
“We are really looking forward to it and that is our aim to play there again.
“Before the season started that was our aim to achieve as much success as we could. That is still the way we want to be so the focus is on us.”
The 25-year-old has stressed the importance of treating their contest against the capital side as a fresh game, having ran out 3-0 winners when they met in the SWPL last Sunday on their return to action.
She continued: “How important is taking this as a fresh game? Yes definitely, Hibs will know it is a cup game and they have got nothing to lose, so they will come all guns blazing as well.
“We are looking to just have that dominant performance again.
“Can there be difficulties in preparing for playing a team twice in a row? Yes but I think we just look forward to every game.
“We will prepare the way we usually do and we know exactly what we have got to work on from the game that we just had against them.
“We will put our slight wrongs right and hopefully we can progress into the next round.”
“It was a great team performance overall. We really worked hard and I think it showed just how hard we are working in training that we are putting in performances like we did on Sunday.
“Obviously we were disappointed with the two draws because we want to try and go in and win every game.
“We know it is a tough league, so getting that win under our belt was exactly what we needed going into this next cup game.”
Cornet represented Scotland in the most recent international break which included a first ever start for her country, as she reflected on the experience of playing in the Pinatar Cup out in Spain.
She added: “It was a dream come true. I honestly couldn’t believe it.
“There is no words that can describe the feeling, hopefully I done all my family and everybody proud so that was the main thing.
“How much confidence does that give you as a player getting to share a dressing room with such great players? Literally learning from them the full week was unbelievable and to be in there is just an amazing experience.
“I have gained lots of confidence from that trip away and learned loads from the best there is.”
