With only five matches remaining this season, the head coach insists his side are raring to go after a training camp in Marbella.
Speaking to the press at this morning’s pre-match press conference, he said: “The most important thing is that we have to believe and that we have to have the confidence that we can win games.
“We spoke about nine finals, we have won the first four finals, so it was a good step, but now we have the next final. We have to keep believing. This is what we have to do.
“We do not look too far ahead; it is game by game, and we focus on what we have to do. We have to perform, we have to win games, and in some moments we need a little bit of luck.
"We have prepared as best as possible, we will try to play our best football, and if we do this, then we have a big opportunity.”
With the news this week that captain James Tavernier will leave the club at the end of the season, Röhl paid tribute to the right-back.
He continued: “He is a legend of the club, he had an amazing career here, he saw all the good moments, and he also saw some not so good moments, but hopefully at the end of the season he can see again a beautiful moment.
“The most important thing is now we have 21 days to go, five games, and then hopefully he will have an incredible goodbye, which is what he deserves.
“He pushed the group really well in the last couple of weeks. It was not easy for him to be in and out, but he really showed what kind of character he is, what kind of good leader he is for the group, and that is the most important thing.
"Now we have one goal, one dream and one direction we want to go.
“Nobody needs extra motivation for the final five games, but if someone needs maybe this last percentage, then it makes sense, and everyone takes responsibility as well to give him the best goodbye.”
On team news for Sunday, the head coach revealed Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi will not be available but are making good progress.
He said: “For the weekend, they are not available, but I must really say it looks very positive for the next four games after.
"Tuur looks great. This is now day by day about the timing of when he can start to train with the team, but he is in a good process. I am also surprised with Ryan, he looks really well at the minute, and it also gives me a positive feeling.
"I don't know now exactly when he is back, but it looks like at the minute he is sooner back than we expected.”
