The Light Blues return to Premiership business at home after going into the international break on the back of victories over Kilmarnock, Hibernian and Dundee.
Röhl’s men netted seven goals and conceded just once as he made a bright start to life at Ibrox, and he insists he’s loving his new surroundings.
Speaking to the media, he said: “It is crucial we have had three wins in a row and we want four.
“We want to hopefully close the gap, but for this, you need small steps, and that’s the next game.
“We spoke on Thursday about what we want to do as a team and our identity. We have to improve step by step.
“I said after the Dundee game that we had two clean sheets out of three, we scored seven goals, and that’s a step forward.
“We want to be perfect, but all it is about is winning, even if it is a dirty game.
“I’m very happy to be here. My team, players, staff, the environment, the supporters, the city, everything is really positive, even the journalists.
“I am feeling right at home, results help any manager. If you don’t win, it is tough, but I am enjoying my work. I have a lot of energy, I enjoyed being with my kids for a few days, but I am looking forward, and hopefully we have a great future together.”
Rangers will be without several key members of the squad, including John Souttar, Mikey Moore and Derek Cornelius, who were all injured on international duty.
Röhl is awaiting the full extent of the problems; however, he has challenged other players to seize the opportunity to impress.
He added: “We have a lot of problems. John is out with a muscle injury, but we don’t know how long yet, so is Mikey, it’s difficult to say how long for.
“Derek will see a specialist, it could be serious. Bailey Rice got injured in training last week, and he will be out for longer.
“Youssef Chermiti got a kick, and Liam Kelly is a question mark as well. Dujon Sterling, Kieran Dowell and Rabbi Matondo have taken a step forward, but they need more time before they are fully part of the squad but Findlay Curtis is back.
“It is part of football, and I have worked for both sides. It is important for the national teams to have your players, and it is an honour to represent your country.
“As a club manager, you want to protect your players, but you know it can happen.
“I have told some players it is an opportunity to step up, and some players can surprise you, and it is good to have the group together, and we have trained well.
“I spoke to some boys in the last few days. Sometimes you have a story where players are out, then they get a moment, and they perform well.
“In the last few weeks, I have rotated, and you need everyone to be ready. I am comfortable we can close the gap, but you hope the injuries come back as soon as possible.
“It is what it is, it is about solutions, and we know we will face a team, but we want three points and to win the game.”
