Danny Rohl Focused On Moving Rangers Forward

DANNY Röhl hopes his side can end the Scottish Premiership season with a victory at Falkirk tomorrow afternoon.

The head coach was speaking to the media at this morning’s press conference, as he reflected on a frustrating few weeks in the post-split fixtures.

He said: “The most important thing in football is winning games, and this is what we must do tomorrow.

"I watched the game back from the last time at Falkirk, and I saw in the background after our goal the celebrations, and I said, wow, it was a good day. We were back, we showed character, we came back from 2-0 down.

“It hurts the players because I feel that in the dressing room, the most important thing is that we fight through the difficult moments during a game, I think, and this is what I have taken from this.

"The last three weeks have really been a rollercoaster of emotions, ups and downs, but nobody could have imagined three weeks ago.

The head coach says after tomorrow’s final fixture, he will take time to reflect on his first seven months in Glasgow. He continued: “It is important after the game to have a little bit of distance for reflection.

“If you lose four games, it is normal that you get a little bit more critical feedback, especially when you join this club, then you have to be prepared for this.

“There will be a time when you will be the hero, three weeks ago, and we were in a good way, and you have a time where you have to come through, but this is also what I demand from my players and for myself.

“It is never to run away, it is about developing resilience and showing leadership.”
