The Gers responded to going behind twice in the first-half in emphatic fashion as Youssef Chermiti’s hat-trick, coupled with Michael Steinwender’s own goal, propelled them to a well-earned three points.
Speaking to RangersTV after the victory, a delighted Head Coach said: “It was an exceptional performance from my players.
“I think we showed big personality today after two presents that we gave them. We came back and fully deserved the win.
“We were the better team over the 94 minutes. I felt from the first minute that we were good in the game and then we gift them the first present. But that can happen in football.
“It’s all about the next action, about the reaction, and we done really well.
“I'm happy and proud of the group, but we know as well that it’s all about the next game against Livingston in seven days. We need the next three points and we’ll go again and again.”
On Chermiti’s performance, delivering once again in a crucial contest after his brace in the Old Firm victory at Parkhead last month, Röhl continued: “We spoke before the game that big games are for big teams. In big games you need big players, and Youssef showed against Celtic that he can score in big games and today he showed that too.
“Youssef deserves a lot of credit. It’s easy to criticise him for this or for that, but today he was outstanding.
“However, let’s speak about the team, about us as a club and group. It wasn’t just a single person; we won as a group. The players from the bench reacted well.
“For the fourth goal Djeidi Gassama needs to wait a long time, but then he makes it and it’s outstanding.
“I like how we reacted after the small setbacks in the game, that we stuck together which is important.
“We have improved and developed our resilience. Everyone should enjoy this win today, recover tomorrow, and we go again.”
It was the perfect response from Rangers after they were forced to settle for a point late in the contest against away to Motherwell in midweek.
Röhl says he’s delighted by what his players are giving him currently and believes the power of the group in its entirety was on display once again this afternoon.
He added: “It’s important for me to give my players a clear picture and that’s what I’ve done in the last couple of days.
"I totally believe in what we’re doing, and we need this power over weeks and months.
“Today we saw why it’s important that we have a good squad. Both games you need high intensity over 95 minutes and this is also important when I look to prepare a week.
“Sometimes you make better decisions and sometimes you perhaps can think about my decision, but today I saw a group of high intensity and that was possible because we have some fresh legs on the pitch.”
