DANNY Röhl says it's important that Rangers continue their positive momentum with Ludogorets the visitors to Ibrox in UEFA Europa League action tomorrow evening.
The Gers host the Bulgarian outfit in their penultimate league phase outing in the competition, having won their last six matches in all competitions.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Röhl says his squad are determined to extend their winning run: "At first we enjoyed six wins in a row, and the other part is that we need to value every win.
"There was a time not long ago when a win was not normal for us.
"It's great at the moment to see this run. It's also the reason why tomorrow we go with a strong starting lineup in this game, and hopefully we can continue on the weekend.
"It's a competition where we haven't won so far.
"I think that is our challenge tomorrow, to win our first game in this competition. It's also important that we keep the momentum.
"They sometimes press high, while they can also wait in a deeper block. It's about us, and for us, it's a good challenge again at this level to show where we are at the moment.
"This week, with all three signings on the pitch, I saw good quality, and the competition is there. Unfortunately, it's not possible to take them tomorrow.
"In some parts of the training this week, we trained for both games [also for the Dundee match on Sunday] with the starting lineup for both games.
"All in all, it's been a good week. We look sharp with our energy levels, and this is what we want to see tomorrow."
On the fitness of his squad, with Dundee set to visit Ibrox this weekend on league duty, Röhl continued: "Unfortunately, John Souttar is out this week.
"We got the results today, and it's a positive because we thought it would be long-term. Hopefully, it's just until Monday, then he's back.
"Dujon [Sterling] looks good on the pitch. I'm not sure if I'll take him for the weekend because we have a lot of games ahead of us where we need to manage him.
"Connor [Barron] is on the way, but it takes time. Derek [Cornelius] is training hard to come back, and Bailey [Rice] is long-term."
Rangers are without a win in the league phase this campaign, but earned their first point in their previous home outing against Braga in November.
And despite qualification to the knockout phase play-off round being almost mathematically beyond the Gers, the Head Coach insists he won't be taking tomorrow's challenge lightly.
He added: "It's important that we start tomorrow to get more points on the table, and we know next week we face also a strong opponent.
"Between this week, we still have an important league gam,e and I think it's step by step at the moment.
"I won't rest so many players for tomorrow. We will go with a strong group.
"This point is very important for us. We need to be successful in the league, otherwise it's not a topic for us.
"We have 16 games in the league, two games in Europe, and four cup games hopefully to go. And if we get a lot of points in this, then we will have a good summer."
