The striker took his tally for the season to 14 goals, with John Souttar also on target in a win which saw Philippe Clement’s side pick up another important three points in the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time Dessers said: “I am in a good place right now and I want to stay there. I am coming into a lot of good positions to score, there are a lot of chances, and it is all about efficiency.
“If we can get the efficiency up, or I can get it up even more then I can provide a lot of goals for the team for the rest of the season so I think it is a nice goal and we will get there.”
With 23 shots on target, it was a dominant display at Ibrox and Dessers says the squad must be happy with the three points.
He continued: “It was an important three points because there was a lot of talking before the game, so I am happy we got it here at home. It was a good win, it could've been more but we have to be happy with the three points.
“I think we started really well and then out of nothing they made it 1-1 and that took us off a little, but I think after a few minutes we got back into our game and luckily, we could score right before half time, that was an important moment, and we had a lot of chances.
“We were sometimes unlucky, sometimes the finishing could've been better, their goalkeeper had a lot of saves but let's save these goals for the rest of the season and in the games where we need them to win.
“We just kept doing what we are always doing and what we always try to do and today we were a little bit unlucky, but I hope next time we are a bit more lucky when we need it.”
