The youngster, who only signed her first professional contract with her former club Sheffield United back in September 2024, has agreed a deal in Glasgow until the summer of 2027.
Speaking to RangersTV for the first time after joining the side, the 18-year-old said: “It was definitely time for a new challenge.
“I came through the academy; it got a bit comfortable, and someone always said be comfortable being uncomfortable, so I feel like it was time for that move to develop myself in that.
“I just fancied a change and fancied someone new.
“My parents just said I can do whatever I want to do so that was easy.
“I think if I get the opportunity, then I can prove myself and strive from there and show everyone what I am capable of doing.
“I hate losing, I love winning and everything the club is, is what I love to do.”
After joining the Blades’ academy at the age of 11, the full-back made her debut for the club in September 2023, as she spoke of her journey in football to now trying something new.
She continued: “Through the academy, it was really good, training most days, everyone invited me to stuff but I said no because I had training.

“It was really good growing up, they really liked player-development, which was good, and then I finally got through to the first-team which is what I have been training for from when I was little.
“That was a really proud moment for me and my family. It was just a great experience playing with players who have had experience coming up so young.
“First pro deal? That was what I was striving for, to finally get that and just to see everything I was working for pay off, it was so exciting and I am proud of myself for that.
“The confidence I have gained will help me going to here as well and I am just excited to see what I can do.”
Having already featured for her nation due to her Scottish granddad at both Under-23 and 19 levels, the defender hopes to develop further and learn from the experience currently within the Rangers squad.
She added: “It is a proud moment for me, especially and for my grandad.
“It is very exciting to see what I can do with the hard work I have put in and it is always an honour going to play, because I didn't think I would get picked.
“Getting the call that I had been picked was a special moment.
“To be able to be around her every day and see what traits she has that will help me in the future and I am excited for it.
“It is a new coach and experience for me because I have never had that before, because I have been at the same club.

“They can bring new things and have tactics that I have never seen and I can improve off that as well, it is exciting.
“League competitiveness? It will be competitive and that just makes you excel, puts you under pressure but that is what makes you better and even a better player, so I am excited for that.”
