The young Ger was delighted to gain the important three points in the league campaign today with the outstanding backing of the home support in the Sandy Jardine Stand.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after their positive result, he said: “The boys are absolutely buzzing; this is why we work so hard in training every day – so we can put on performances like that. Playing in front of the fans was brilliant, the atmosphere was brilliant. I hope that they enjoyed it because we certainly did.
“We speak about getting a quick start constantly, the press was brilliant at the start and Ross [McCausland] nipped in to get a goal and that set the tone for the rest of the game.
“It was massively important to keep a clean sheet, Jay [Hogarth] didn’t have much to do and that says it all.
“There aren’t many games where you get to play like that at a young age. To play in front of the fans was amazing, we want to experience that more in the future.”
Fraser outlined the message to maintain the same levels heading into the second half with a three-goal advantage and the push this result will give them for the remainder of the season.
He added: “We had to keep the same levels, the message was to try and keep on it and the tempo high to move forward and keep the back door shut.
“We’ve still got a few fair games to go, it’s all about kicking on and working hard for when the next game comes round, we get the win.”
