The Light Blue was thrilled to claim the victory in the B Team’s first Old Firm in the Clarke ePos Scottish Lowland Football League campaign today as they welcomed a fantastic number of home supporters into the Sandy Jardine stand.
Speaking exclusively to RangersTV after their positive result, he said: “It was unbelievable the shift that everyone put in today. The performance we put in and the energy that we had was just unbelievable.
“It was unbelievable to have that many fans there, sometimes when you’re in the zone you forget that they are there, but when you need that help, they’re there to boost us.
“You see the crowd there and you want to go, and you want to put a performance on for them, and when you score a goal that early it’s amazing.”
Miller outlined the importance of maintaining a clean sheet and highlighted that the result will push the squad on for the remainder of the season.
He added: “As much as the win is important, we always want to keep a clean sheet. We still had the other half and we needed to maintain those levels going into the second half. I don’t think we did, I thought we could’ve pushed on for more goals, but we did well to get the 3-0 in the first half.
“This is a good confidence boost for the rest of our games in the Glasgow Cup and the league.”
