Every year, this is celebrated with a programme of activity to encourage more women into sport and physical activity, to raise awareness of those regularly taking part in sport at all levels and also to address the barriers that lead to lower activity rates among women.
Rangers Soccer Academy is at the forefront of raising participation levels among girls, and host regular girls sessions which are free of charge to try.
