Glenn Middleton Joins Dundee United

RANGERS can today confirm Glenn Middleton has joined Dundee United on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

The winger, 22, initially joined the Rangers Academy in the winter transfer window of 2018, and made such an impression in his early months and pre-season, that he was invited to join Steven Gerrard’s first-team that summer.

As a teenager, he made 28 appearances in 2018-19, and scored five goals including a memorable strike away to Spartak Moscow in the Europa League.

He had spells on loan at Hibs and Bradford City in 2019/20, and then two spells with St Johnstone where he netted in the Scottish Cup semi-final en-route to Saints claiming the trophy.

He now departs Ibrox permanently with the best wishes of everyone at Rangers.
