The 16-year-old came off the bench early in the second-half of the 9-0 victory and hopes it can be the first of many opportunities at that level.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match he said: “I thought it was a professional performance from the lads and at times we were playing some really good football.
“We have been working hard in training so it is good to bring that into the game and the boys did well.
“It was a good experience and hopefully the first of many. I have just got to take it in my stride and go into training and games doing my best to try and be here again.”
The Scotland under-17 international hopes the experience can help him continue to develop his game both with Rangers and at international level.
He added: “It is difficult coming up against older players and you have got to adapt your game and try to be a little bit more physical but you learn from it so it is very good and it is a very good experience.
“I think it will benefit me a lot playing against older men and then going to play against international players who are strong and physical so hopefully I can take my experience today into international football as well.”
