The 16-year-old spoke with RangersTV following the young Gers’ hard-fought win against Ricky Waddell’s side today in the league campaign.
He said: “I think we dealt well with their pressure early on, the boys were comfortable on the ball and playing out from the back and we were able to get the goal before halftime.
“It was difficult, but I think that we just had to trust ourselves being in certain situations, we do that in training we just have to keep that going into the game and trust that we can continue. It was a good performance.”
The youngster followed up by underlining his enjoyment playing with David McCallum’s B Team in their busy fixture list across multiple competitions.
He added: “It’s brilliant. I just came back from Sweden the other night [UEFA Youth League] and then we had the game today, it’s very similar to the first team which is what we try and replicate.
“We’ll start back in on Monday and look forward to the game on Wednesday [SPFL Trust Trophy] which will be a good tie. Alloa will be a good side, so it is important that we continue to trust ourselves and the way we play and hopefully bring that into the game and get the win.”
