Following their return from the international break the Light Blues were well below their best and found themselves two goals behind at the interval before a second half fightback saw them claim a point in Cumbernauld.
Speaking to RangersTV to reflect on the game, Hardy said: “I think we will take a point the way the game went.
“Obviously we go out to win every game but going in 2-0 down at half time we showed good character to get back into the game in the second half and Laura coming on and making a big difference for us with a goal and an assist was vital for us.
“In this part of the season we look to try pick up as many points as we can and we have clawed ourselves out of a really bad start and we hold ourselves to quite high standards and we know that first 45 wasn't up to it today.
“Hopefully we build on the second half performance.
“Put the first 45 behind us and we done well to comeback in the second half and get the two goals that we needed and that could be an important point going forward in the title race.”
The striker gave her thoughts on what the first half display was down to, but paid tribute to the impact substitute Laura Berry made to help them get back into the game with a goal and assist off the bench.
She added: “We didn't have enough control.
“We didn't control in possession, out of possession and we just looked to get more of that in the second half and luckily the more the game went on the more we got into it and we got the two goals and take a point.
“That is what we want all our subs to do.
“Anyone in the squad knows that they can come on and make a difference for us and that is what Laura did today.
“First one is a great finish and then she put a ball right on my head for the second one, so a really impressive performance from Laura today and hopefully she'll kick on from that.”
