The big centre-half was terrific alongside Connor Goldson once again as Gers kept Kilmarnock at bay to secure a 2-0 win.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, the Sweden international said: "After the second half where we played very well and got the three points, there is a fantastic feeling in the team.
"But it is a team effort."
Gers not only kept their goal intact today, but limited Killie to next-to-nothing in front of it, with Helander continuing: "Of course, and that is what we are trying to do in every game - the less shots they get on target, the bigger the chance we have of keeping a clean sheet."
Helander spoke at length during the week on his partnership with Connor Goldson. On that today, he said: "We have been playing together for a while now and it gets better and better training together every day.
"You get that understanding for each other and you understand what you need to do in certain situations."
Rangers travel to Hamilton next Saturday for their final match prior to the international break, before Helander hopes to be included in the Sweden squad for two fantastic Nations League encounters with France and Portugal.
He added: "I always enjoy playing with the National team and it is an honour to be there. Hopefully I get selected this time."
