The Light Blues will go toe-to-toe with rivals Celtic in the last four of the Sky Sports Cup at the Excelsior Stadium as the current holders target a place in March’s final.
Speaking to the media in this afternoon’s press conference ahead of the contest the defender feels their approach won’t change going into the game and says everyone is eagerly anticipating the occasion.
She said: “I am looking forward to it. It is obviously a semi-final and a chance to get into a final, that is the games we want to be playing in as players. It is a big occasion but everyone is excited and the mood has been good this week.
“We don't approach it any different, it is the same as every other game really. Obviously it does have that title on it and it is a semi-final. The main thing for us is just kind of focusing on it being another game and just trying to be as a good as we can be.”
The centre-back spoke of what it would mean to overcome their city rivals for a second time in domestic showings this season and seal their place to compete for the first silverware of the season.
She continued: “It would be brilliant. We just want to be playing in finals and competing for trophies. We won the trophy last year so to get into the final and a chance to win it again would be great, but you can't really be talking about finals until we get the job done tomorrow night.”
The 29-year-old has praised the backing the team have received so far this campaign is hopeful the away supporters will turn out in their numbers as they make the short trip tomorrow evening.
She added: “As long as we can get a good crowd then I don't think it matters what night it is. We have got such a good fan base.
“We see it week in week out home and away. Even at Inverness the other week there we had so many travel up.
“I think you could put it on a Monday morning and still people would turn up so I don't think it really matters when it is.”
