He netted his first two goals for the club in a 5-1 victory when Gers last visited Fir Park in September, before he followed that with the crucial, second goal against them four weeks ago at Ibrox.
That day, Gers showed superb patience against a deep-lying side to eventually find their way through and fight back from going an early goal down.
Speaking on that experience, and his goals against the Steelmen for Gers so far at this morning’s press conference, Itten explained: “It was a little bit different, and for myself, I have never played against a block like that. It was really different, but I was just happy we could break the block and we could win the game.
“I always look forward to every game, and Motherwell have been a good team for me. Hopefully I can play well against them again on Sunday or even score.
“I focus the same on every game. I have good memories of those games and for sure, it can help and give you a good feeling on the pitch.
“Fir Park was special for me as it was my first goal for Rangers, and I am really looking forward to hopefully playing on Sunday there.”
Itten has had the luxury of working alongside Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe and Jermain Defoe on a daily basis at the Rangers Training Centre.
The Swiss international striker is determined to make the most of every minute he spends with them, and he added: “They are all different and have different qualities, so there is a lot to take from them. They have a lot of experience and I am happy to learn a lot from all of them.”
