In front of a full house, who braved the bone-chilling -6 conditions, the Light Blues warmed their supporters with a thrilling comeback, with each of Fashion Jr, Jack and then Alfredo Morelos on-target to secure Michael Beale all three points in his first game in charge.
Speaking afterwards to RangersTV, Jack explained: "It was a tough game and a game of two halves. I think the first half wasn't really us and the way we want it to look and the way we want to play.
"It was a bit sloppy and a bit slow in possession and then obviously the goals we conceded, I am sure we will look at in the next couple of days and address them.
"Then in the second half we came out and played the way we wanted it to look and got the goals we wanted to try and score to get the three points, which was the main objective.
"Team spirit is massive in football. That is true especially when you go behind at home and the crowd are demanding more - and rightly so, and we are demanding more and the staff are demanding more.
"It showed a lot of character and togetherness that we managed to get through the game and get the three points."
The second half was a marked improvement from the first, and Jack continued: "In the second half especially, it is how we wanted it to look and I think that is a big thing that sticks in my head that we said before the game is to play with the handbrake off.
"Everyone was at it, everyone gave 100 per-cent with forward runs and played close together with good combination play.
"I don't really think we got going with that side of it in the first half, but in the second half, we definitely did and you saw the goals we scored and to get the three points was massive."
The 50,000 who came out last night also played a massive role by roaring the team on right to the end, and Jack added: "We are always going to need them behind us and you saw tonight at times when it is tough and teams are wasting time and making it tough for us that we are going to need them right behind us.
"You saw tonight they pushed us on the pitch, and thankfully, we managed to get the three points for them."
