The Light Blues will be hosting last season’s title winners Glasgow City at Broadwood Stadium as the final international break of the season comes to an end.
Speaking to RangersTV as they prepare for the match in Cumbernauld, the assistant coach insists everyone is focused on what lies ahead as they get ready for a crunch clash in league action when the full squad come back together.
She commented: “It is really good when everybody gets back in the building and you make sure that is everybody is fit and they are back into club business and put their club brain back on.
“We are really fortunate that we have got a good group of players that can do that for us. We are excited to get going and obviously we have got the City game, it is going to be tough and the run in April is really tough but it is tough for everybody and that is why we are here.”
“What is the overriding message to the squad heading into it? Keep doing what we are doing. We work hard, we do well and we train hard.
“If we can continue that I think we will put ourselves in a really good position come the end of the season.
“They are a credit to the club and we are excited to get everybody back in and focus on the games that we have got coming up.
“All we can ask is that they give their best, I know it sounds really cliche and cheesy but that is all we want from them and they give us that. On the back of that gets us results.”
The former Burnley interim head coach knows the Gers have to be clinical in these fixtures and the matches that remain of the season with fine margins potentially determining the outcome of the silverware that remains on the line.
She continued: “It is massive and we have to be ruthless.
“When we have got teams on the ropes we have to go for it and we have to keep our foot on the gas because if we let up for a second they'll be teams ready to catch us.
“We are ready for that challenge and we are relishing being right up there.
“We were actually saying with the staff it seems like a lifetime ago that we played City. We have had to switch our brain back onto them and the threats that they pose.
“They have improved since the last time that we played them from the footage that we have been reviewing and discussions that we are having as staff.
“I am excited to get the game going and hopefully we can come out with a good result.
“I am really hoping that Sunday will be the start of that.
“There will be some sticky moments in there I'm sure because it is a really tough league, but we will be ready for that and we will come out of the other side of it.”
