The Light Blues got back to winning ways in the league thanks to a first half finish from Kirsty Howat in a game of very few clear-cut opportunities throughout.
Speaking to RangersTV after the win the assistant coach was happy the team were able to shut the opposition out in what was their first of the campaign so far.
She said: “Obviously the win is the most important thing, the clean sheet is a big plus for us. We have not had one of those yet so that is nice to walk away with, I don't think we were overly convincing with the ball. We could have been better and sharper with the ball, but a win is a win.
“That is massive for us, and I think we did really well in the defensive moments and just really shut down any opportunities that they had. I think walking away with that clean sheet today is the biggest positive.”
Bradford was happy with the goal that separated the two sides and says the victory was the most important thing with the team not being at their best on the day.
She continued: “It is a great finish; it is a really good find from Ini in there. Kirsty does her job and puts it in the back of the net, it is not an easy finish and she made it look easy so I am really pleased for her.
“Sometimes it is not pretty, sometimes you just have to accept a poor performance but take the result and I think today is one of those days.
“It is just that in possession bit, I don't think we were sharp enough. I don't think we moved Thistle around enough, I don't think we dragged them out of their shape in the moments that we could have done that.
"We then struggled because it is difficult to break a team down that are going to sit in and be in a bit of a block, we needed to work harder with the ball at our feet and we didn't quite get that right today.”
