With 24 goals scored and none conceded in the opening three matches, it has been a strong start to the league campaign for Malky Thomson’s side.
Fife was pleased with the control Rangers showed, especially in the second-half, as they picked up another three points this evening.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, she said: “It was a challenge, Hearts did really well in the first-half, they are a hard team to break down and they had their chances but I thought in the second-half we controlled the game and managed to get two goals so we are delighted with the three points.
“We were maybe a bit deep in the first-half, we came out and pressed them in the second-half and that seemed to work for us. We did have chances in the first half but we couldn't convert but I think we came out in the second half with a stronger mentality and managed to be clinical and get the goals.
“I'm always delighted with a clean sheet, we haven’t conceded in the league yet which is credit to the whole team so hopefully we can continue that run going onto Hamilton on the weekend.”
Fife says it is up to the squad to continue to push themselves each week as they now look ahead to a trip to Hamilton on Sunday.
She continued: “We know this league is competitive and Hearts just showed that, they really stepped up to the mark in this game and we know every game is going to be like that. We just need to carry on and we need to keep clean sheets and score goals and hopefully we can continue that.
“We know we need to put performances in week after week if that is midweek games and Sunday games we need to do that, that's just football and we have managed to do that today.
“I’m expecting a similar game from Hamilton, they are a good team as well. I'm not sure how they will play against us but they might be quite hard to break down so we will need to be up to that challenge. No game in this league is easy so we will go into that game with a strong mentality to win that game as well.”
