The Light Blues found themselves three goals up inside 15 minutes before ultimately going on to be 5-0 victors as they marked their return from the international break with a win.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game the head coach was pleased with how quickly her team came out the traps and finding the early goals in the contest.
She said: “I thought we started the game extremely well. I think it is the best that we have started a game, it is something I have challenged the players with is starting games stronger, because I think we always finish the games strong.
“We did again, I thought we finished the game extremely well. We had a very fast start and I was really pleased with the pace of the game and how we managed to take our chances early on.
“You see the difference when we start games really strong. I think you can see that we create chances and putting people in different positions.
"Like you can see Sarah Ewens coming in from the start today, I thought she was excellent from minute one. You can see the threat that she can offer and getting two goals today I think it just showed the class that she has got.
The former lioness has highlighted the persistence in her team’s play to consistently look to score more and was particularly pleased at how little they limited their opponents to as they racked up a fourth clean sheet in a row.
She continued: “That is something that you see in our performances week in week out. We are never happy; we always want to score more.
“I think the ruthlessness is something that we have spoken about for a few weeks and months actually.
“I am always happy with that, we are always striving for more, but again a clean sheet is just as good as scoring five goals for me at the end of the day.
“We have said that for a few performances now. We are limiting oppositions to few and little chances. That is really pleasing for me considering where we started the season at. Being able to see the progression in and out of possession. You just see the way that we are playing and want to play. We are limiting teams to chances and scoring a few goals.
Potter spoke on striker Jane Ross as she marked her long awaited return to the pitch with a goal after appearing for the Gers for the first time since July 2022.
She added: “I think it was her first touch. We are delighted to have Jane back in the squad and on the pitch. I think you can see what it meant to her and all the players.
“It was only really Jenna that couldn’t make it as far up the pitch to celebrate with her. It is a special moment for her and we couldn’t have been happier that somebody as special as Jane could come on and get a goal for us.”
