The Light Blues were back on the pitch following the international break as they ran out dominant 10-2 winners over Montrose as five players helped them on their way to victory.
Speaking to RangersTV after the match, she commented: “What pleased me most? I think the variety of goalscorers was pleasing today.
“I mentioned pre-match some things I wanted to see come out in the performance from training and that transference from training into the game was really positive.
“I thought the players really took on board what we had asked them to do and brought it out in large parts of the game today.
“I think you could see the free-flowing football that when we got into our stride it was really good to watch.
“Some really good performances out there that we are looking more towards the majority of the team playing well today and opposed to not playing well. Some top performances and some really nice goals too.”
The former Lioness was full of praise for midfielder Charlie Devlin, on a day where she claimed her first goal and hat-trick for the club, whilst highlighting the display from her midfield overall.
She continued: “She was really good; she has trained really well over the past couple of weeks.
“It is something that has been really pleasing to see.
“I bang on about it all the time about they have got to train well to get a spot in the team and that is what she has done.
“To pop up with three goals and I think she has hit the bar and the post as well so she could have come away with five.
“She has shown her real quality now and I think that is what we brought her in to do.
“You could see it in glimpses, when she played bit part, so I think to see it on the whole today for a 90 minute performance was really pleasing.
“It is really good to see, we needed a game like today for our midfielders to get back on the ball and get back in the thick of the game.
“Because it has been a difficult couple of weeks for us so it was nice for them to have good performances today and have the majority of the possession which really helps our midfielders because they all want to play football.
“To be able to link and drop in and know when to link play, know when to leave spaces open was really important for them today and I think that is what they did excellently.”
Potter says her side have a lot of positives to take from the game but wants the team to try eradicate the two they did concede moving forward.
She added: “It puts a little bit of a dampener on it, especially in a game like that where they have not really had a sniff.
“You are looking at it and it should probably be 10-0.
“It is a difficult one because for them to take two goals away from a game like today it is hard to digest so they are the ones that we have spoken about for a long time that we need to take out of our game.
“Stop giving teams gimmes because that is what both goals were.
“We have got to look at it, we will and we'll get better at it but we have got to look at a lot of the positives to come from today because there was some really top performances out there, some super goals.”
