The Light Blues ran out 2-0 winners over Motherwell thanks to second-half goals from Katie Wilkinson and substitute Lizzie Arnot.
Speaking to RangersTV after the game, the head coach commented: “I was happy, I think you could see that we were pretty dominant throughout the game.
“I was happy with the level of control we showed because we lost control for large amounts, especially in the second half in midweek.
“That was something I was looking for us to improve on and it was a definite improvement.
“It shouldn't really matter who we are playing we should be playing our game and that is something that we stressed beforehand and you could see that there was a massive improvement on that today.
“I was happy with the level of control that we showed and it is unfortunate that we didn't get a couple more goals but opportunities were there and we had some really good play, especially second half.
“You could say that we managed to kick on again with our substitutions that came on and just changed the game for us, overall we were happy, we are happy with a clean sheet and definitely three points.”
The Gers were left frustrated in the opening 45 minutes having gone in level, but the former Lioness remained confident the goals would eventually come in the second half.
She continued: “Half-time message? We said sometimes these games can be frustrating. It is never easy to beat a block, they were aggressive in their press when they wanted to be.
“It is about staying calm in those moments and accepting that pressure and being able to beat it.
“Knowing what part to use in our game whether we needed to play through or whether we needed to just relax and go back and start again.
“It was pleasing for us to see that they took that on board today.
“It was just about staying in the game for moments, keep pushing and keep pressing the game.
“We knew the longer it went on that we would create more chances because we were in complete control. It was just about being patient a little bit more and keeping the ball for longer spells.
“We were happy with that; we were happy with the messages that we put across at half time and they went out and did it in the second half and the main thing was three points for us today.”
Rangers now turn their attentions to a home fixture against Glasgow City at Ibrox next weekend (Tickets: HERE), and the head coach they are all relishing the occasion.
She added: “We can't wait, it is a great opportunity for us to get fans in at Ibrox.
“The fans have been missing there for so long it is good to get back there, especially in a men's international break as well so it is a really good chance for us to pack the stadium out and get our fans right behind us.
“As you can see both games Thursday night and today our fans are always here in numbers and it is really important for us.
“It is a great opportunity for us to get to Ibrox and play on that beautiful surface and hopefully put in a good performance again.”
